Identity Forged Under Pressure
The world has to lean on a character until it changes who they are. The good ones come out marked. These are the fights that rhyme with my own.
Time was given. Truth was recorded. Nothing is taken without its price.
I watch anime the way I run a build. Respect the system. Reward whoever earned their spot. And I've got no patience for posturing. The ones I pull for hardest? The ones who weren't supposed to make it.

The setting needs teeth. Rules, factions, hierarchy, consequence. Drop me into a world with real infrastructure and I'm locked in for the long haul.
The show has to mean what it's doing. Grief, loneliness, a good guy decking a bad guy for the right reason. As long as it's sincere, I'm all in.
Small, underestimated, curmudgeonly, devastating. I don't ask permission and I don't fit the system, so I make the world account for me by refusing to quit. I help people, grudgingly, because that's who I am under the attitude. And when a show gets this right, with real sincerity and a world that pushes back, it stops feeling like a story. It starts feeling like recognition.
